Our deep indigo denim is designed to deliver the depth and character premium denim is known for.

Because some indigo dye remains on the fabric's surface, color may transfer onto lighter clothing, footwear, handbags, upholstery, or other materials, particularly during the first several wears.

This is called dye transfer, also known as crocking. Some transfer is a normal characteristic of dark indigo denim and does not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.

How can I minimize dye transfer?

• Wash your jeans inside out in cold water, separately during the first several washes.
• Avoid prolonged contact with light-colored clothing, handbags, furniture, vehicle seats, and footwear.
• Be especially careful when your jeans are damp, as moisture can increase color transfer.
• Allow your jeans to dry completely before wearing.
• Always follow the garment's care instructions.

With wear and washing, excess surface dye typically diminishes, and transfer should become less noticeable.

How often should I wash my jeans?

There's no one-size-fits-all schedule. Wash when your jeans are visibly dirty, develop an odor, or need refreshing.

Washing less frequently when appropriate can help preserve their color and reduce unnecessary fabric wear.

Will my jeans stretch out over time?

Our cotton-rich stretch denim combines LYCRA® fiber for comfortable movement with T400® technology for recovery.

Together, these fibers help the fabric recover after stretching and maintain its intended fit. Some relaxation during wear is normal, but the denim is designed with shape retention in mind.

Can I put my jeans in the dryer?

Yes. Our garment care instructions permit tumble drying on low heat.

However, air drying whenever possible can help preserve the fabric's stretch, color, and longevity.

How can I help prevent my jeans from fading?

Wash inside out in cold water, avoid bleach and excessive heat, and air dry away from direct sunlight when possible.

Is dye transfer considered a defect?

Some dye transfer is a normal characteristic of deep indigo denim. However, unusual or excessive color transfer may warrant further review.
